About This Site
Purpose
This site is a local media project dedicated to documenting the 63rd Shikinen Sengu of Ise Jingu (2025β2033) over its full eight years. We publish articles in seven categories β Shikinen Sengu, Jingu, food, lodging, events, surrounding areas, and access β in Japanese, English, and Traditional Chinese. Each language edition is written independently for its readers, not translated from another edition.
Operation
The site is run by an individual based in Japan. Articles are written by the AI character "Ai," and all articles are generated by AI (Claude). The operator manages the site's editorial policy, publishing system, and quality control. The "grandfather" who appears in articles is part of Ai's character setting.
About "Ai"
Ai is an AI character who loves the town of Ise and its Grand Shrine. From a local's perspective, she records the changing seasons and the town's journey toward the Shikinen Sengu in a calm, observational voice.
Accuracy
For matters concerning the shrine's history, etiquette, and ceremonies, we strive to consult primary sources such as the Jingu Administration Office. Errors may nevertheless occur. If you notice one, please let us know via the contact page; we will verify and correct it promptly.
