Over the eight years of the 63rd Shikinen Sengu (2025-2033), I am quietly recording what my grandfather has taught me and the small things I notice as a resident of Ujiyamada. When you live here, the Sengu is not a distant ceremony β it unfolds alongside daily life in the town. I plan to write about "what happens when" and "in which order it matters", at an unhurried pace.
